    Recently swapped out a Dish 500 for a 1000.2. It's all working but I have good signals on 119/129 but 110 is weak, only around 25 as compared to 70 or so for 119/129. Before I get this thing all out of whack fine tuning what do the experts expect I should be looking for. I am in zip code 34731...

    Bad 301?

    Can't get the receiver to hold a satellite long enough for the update to proceed. Never saw one act quite this way. If I connect it directly to a single LNB it won't even see it. I know it isn't the LNB's or switches as I have two other receivers working great on it. Could be a distance issue...

    Pulled an old DP301 out of the moth balls today and decided to hook it up to my existing DPP44. It quickly recognizes the DPP switch but will only see one satellite (119) and even then sometimes will register odd and sometimes even only.     Agreed on the mid to upper 80's. I'll slap a different LNB on it this weekend and see if it improves from the current high 50's to low 60's. Also is it possible to use a larger dish, say 30" with a Dish Pro quad or DPP Twin?

    I think I'll go to a quad LNB and drop two 110/119 to the local receiver (15ft away from the dish location) and run the other two to a DPP44 to feed a few other receivers. One dual and two singles. Any issue with that setup?

    What LNB would work well on a 30" Dish to receive Dish Network? Just 110/119 for now. Plan to run to a DPP44 for multiple receivers. Any thoughts appreciated!

    Just for kicks I installed a Pro Quad LNB on the dish. Brought the signal levels to mid to upper 80's. May have to drop the DPP twin and go to a DPP44 and standard twin. Open for suggestions.

    I want to change my Pro Plus Twin LNBF to a Quad. Mounted it up. Signals are excellent. Receivers recognize the Quad but says there is a problem. I must be missing something. Should be as easy as checking the switch, right? I defer to the experts!

    I'm in Southern Nevada with a Dish 500 dual Pro plus LNB. Signals are weaker than would be expected. Alignment is as good as I can get. I would like to go to a larger dish and need a recommendation for a good 30 or 33" dish and the right equipment for Dish network. Any Ideas???
