really? so let me get this straight... with the whole home connection the rooms with the dvrs will not be able to watch the recorded shows on the Genie? And the room with the genie won't be able to watch shows on the drv in the other rooms? If that's the case then directv is either lying to me...

Thank you for the response. If I have two dvrs in two beadrooms and get the genie in the living room will the rooms with the two older dvrs be able to access the shows on the genie? and vise versa? I do have the whole home sharing currently.

If I swap out my 2 DVDRs for a new genie and 3 genie boxes, can the installer transfer the shows from the 2 dvdrs to the new genie?

But the real crazy thing is they give this away for free year after year to so many people. If they are willing to give it away then why not keep trying to get it free?

Called in and got Sunday ticket max for half price $150 (originally $300) and a 1 time $50 credit. Total cost this season $100. Spent about 45 minutes on the phone.

Looks to me like she gave you the big package of ST, Red Zone and the to go package for $99. I think you should just wait and see what you get. Even if you end up getting just the ST at $99, that is a good deal. Bonus if you got it all for that amount.

I'm not too concerned if DTV is running all 26 channels or not, What concerns me is that list you posted is a list of some very good programming. What a shame to see those go off the air even for a short period of time without notice from DTV, even if it is a blindside move by Viacom. Shame on...

I called yesterday and was offered the Red Zone for free too, I'm more interested in the ST which seems like they are willing to go half price $99, and $150 on the big package. I haven't heard or read elsewhere of any better deals then this being offered....yet.
