It took about 3 attempts, but I was able to get WPR on a blind scan. Very cool.

OK, I was able to add the music channels using the AliEditor. Thanks for everyone's help.

Ok, not being on the channel I want to edit worked. Makes sense maybe. Prevents the pids from being overwritten.

Review: consumer receiver natively tuning 4:2:2

I tried it on WRAL. As soon as I hit save, I can see the pids on the right hand side of the screen change for a fraction of a second, but they immediately return to the original values. Like they are being overwritten by something. Not sure what software version I have. Where do I find that?

Review: consumer receiver natively tuning 4:2:2

From the orange channel functions, there is a PID editor using the remote. But I can't get the new PIDs to stick after doing a save. They always return to the original numbers. It's either non-functional, or there is some trick that I haven't figured out

Does the V9 have the ability to edit/add PIDS? Either with the remote or with an editor? I haven't been able to find that option on mine.

    Eutelsat 65W - C band range (4.5GHz - 4.8GHz)

No 5G, hardly have any 4G signal. There was a strong terrestrial microwave signal at 4.5 GHz. But it wasn't strong enough to overload the LNBF. At some point it was shut down.

    Eutelsat 65W - C band range (4.5GHz - 4.8GHz)

Don't know about that one, but the one I have works from 3.6 to 4.8 GHz. So I doubt mine would work in a 5G environment. It is 10 years old, so maybe they have improved.

    Eutelsat 65W - C band range (4.5GHz - 4.8GHz)

This was discussed about 10 years ago. I have an LNB for that frequency range and have received Eutelsat 65, SES 6 and a few others. Unfortunately I had to move and no longer have a C Band dish set up...

KKAB-DT is now on the air in metro Albuquerque!!

OK, getting KKAB now. I had forgotten that a 7 element yagi that I bought few years ago for the 222 MHz ham band was really a ch 7 to 13 tv antenna. Dug it out of storage today and getting an ok signal just holding the yagi at ground level.

    No, I don't get a hint of any signal on R.F. 14

KKAB-DT is now on the air in metro Albuquerque!!

I have a CM7777 preamp but haven't tried it. If I was going to do something I'd build a 3 element yagi for the roof first. Top priority is getting my 90 cm dish set up. Don't want to get distracted by OTA stuff.

KKAB-DT is now on the air in metro Albuquerque!!

I scan in about 85 channels on the indoor antenna. KKAB has a directional antenna pointed away from Santa Fe.

Only getting a hint of a signal from KKAB here in Santa Fe. Not enough to lock. Using rabbit ears inside the house. Would probably work with a decent roof top antenna.

USALS Motors: The Device from Hell

I feel your pain. I had a different brand of motor that keep running away into one limit or the other. I ended up mounting my 1.2m Ku dish on an old C Band mount and actuator. It worked flawlessly for years.

If you haven't already tried it, disconnect the coaxial cable first and see if that helps.

FREE C-Band dishes in New Mexico

Yes, it was a huge fire 😧 I'm keeping my 90 cm and 1.2 m antennas. Unless someone buys the house. Then they can have them. I didn't mention the Ku antennas I'm giving away, because they are all kind of small. All of these have a 10.75 GHz LO. One is a WorldDirect antenna, one is the 35 inch...

FREE C-Band dishes in New Mexico

Hey Guys, It wasn't on my to-do list, but I seem to be getting older. To the point were I can no longer live at my remote home in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico (near Los Alamos). So I'm going to give away my 4 C-Band dishes. Two 8 footers, a 10 foot and a 12 foot. The 12 foot is an early...

Sorry to hear this. It was his articles in Radio Electronics magazine that first got me started in this hobby.
