    problems with chs on 101w

What are good receivers to watch these with? I have scanned them in a few times but never watched them long enough to experience the issue.

mr3p that was a dead link. I ended up getting a refund from the seller.

    OTHER Basic DVB-S/S2 Receiver

There was a Montage VT6000 box that came out a while back. I used it for the 16apsk channels on 97w with pretty good performance. It's a dual tuner DVB-S2/DVB-T setup. The AC3 audio needs to be passed out of the coaxial port into a decoder. There is now an upgraded version of the same basic box...

    Digicipher II - Unscrambled channels

There may be a setting to shut off lnb power on that receiver. That was how I always used mine. I would feed power from the loop out on my other receiver to it.

    Digicipher II - Unscrambled channels

What model receiver did you buy? The digitrans 7100 and 7150 work well for figuring out maps. Thats how I edited my maps. The DSR units are much more user friendly.

Openbox Openbox V8S Receiver Need US Sats Not foreign

I have a NA sat file for the skybox v6 which I believe uses the same processor so it may work. The V6 maxes out at 64 satellites.

    Unimesh Dish Shape

Do you have any pictures of the damage? That dish is a good performer so I think you will be fine with some imperfections. Both of my mesh dishes in service have mesh damage and they work well.

    OTHER ICECRYPT S3750CHD Satellite Receiver

I started a thread a while back about the Golden Media Triplex receiver which is very similar. At the time it was great a few years ago. However it is a bit dated imo. Many newer faster receivers can be had for less money. The later updates slowed my box down substantially.

    Can't hit Intelsat 11 at 43.1W

4026V 18530 is strong and 4040H 30800 is stronger. That is a weaker satellite for me but those 2 transponders always come in.

Kijiji, eBay, and Craigslist dishes for you to take a look at

That dish in Merced looks like my Winegard 10' dish. If thats what it is they are a fine dish. Heavy duty mount.

Looking for 7.5' dish cover for snow

I don't use a cover but before the storm I move my dish to the far west of the arc so it is standing almost straight up. Then none of the snow sticks to it.

Regency solid aluminum 7.5' Satellite dish

the edge of the dish is rolled over. There are 4 holes in the dish for where the mount was. I think I would have to drill holes towards the edge of the dish to put legs on it.

Regency solid aluminum 7.5' Satellite dish

I calculated the f/d ratio to be .28. I am in the process of figuring out how to mount the lnb on it. I would like to try this dish for Ku first.

    10' mesh dish mount ideas

Im still in need of a mount for this. I also need a mount for my regency solid dish. I found out that the brand name of the dish is Odom. Either way if I can get any mount I would like to at least rig something up for the solid dish. I have a welder buddy who is willing to help me out.

    C-Band Analog

As long as you are tracking the arc you should have no problem getting signals with a newer receiver while using the Star Trak. You may have to upgrade the lnb depending on what kind you have on the dish. I use a 4dtv receiver as a dish mover. It still works well even though I don't use it for...

Regency solid aluminum 7.5' Satellite dish

I picked up the dish. If anyone can post pics or links to pics of buttonhook feeds that would be great. I have never seen a buttonhook up close. I was thinking of using copper pipe maybe. I don't really want to convert it to the conventional style right now.

Regency solid aluminum 7.5' Satellite dish

the guy said he was using it for satellite many years ago so I don't think it was for microwave use.

Regency solid aluminum 7.5' Satellite dish

I have access to one of these dishes. It is just the reflector however. There is no mount or buttonhook. Has anyone had any experience with one of these? Does this model have good reception compared to a similar sized mesh dish? I would like to use it for Ku mostly. If anyone has any ideas to...

    DSR922 won't move actuator

My 7.5' dish quit moving tonight. I can hear the dsr clicking when I try to move the dish but the counter isn't moving so upon further inspection I can see that the actuator is not moving. I checked with a voltmeter and I am not even getting 1v when I try to move the dish. Is it something simple...

OTHER Vigica C90s - some general observations

I picked up a few coaxial audio cables when Radioshack closed up here. I haven't been able to test any of that yet but so far it seems no ac3 with the gk526 receiver.

OTHER Vigica C90s - some general observations

Are you getting audio on most of the satellite channels? I have a similar box that came out a while back and I am not getting audio on a lot of the fta channels. Other than that the box works fairly well.

where to find channel with working epg

I forget where but I know there was recently a channel that had a working epg. I am trying to test recording on a couple of receivers. Was it france24 or something? The ones on 97w are gone I think.
