    Getting power to OTA antenna

D* HD tuner will power sensar OTA We switched to D* last week and the tuner seems to supply power to the antennae! D* is a let down (though HD PQ is adequate) and my wife is pissed about the loss of both style and ultra! we watch a lot of locals now!

    "ota signal bouncing"

the antennae is a sensar II or something (the stealth bomber thing) I put it on a pole after the first dismal install in January. We had the three room install done initially but one reciever went bad and have not gotten this taken care of since guy came out last (two days of work lost there)...

    "ota signal bouncing"

Only a teeny tiny sharp 32 inch sharp LCD but Voom is the best that has happened to us in a long while. that said we have had all kinds of problems with the install folks here in the philly area. Latest was that the guy came out to check a bad reciever and "tune" the ota's better. we live in...

Need the Following information From Voom Subs

HDMI vDMI for me only has to do with audio input to the TV as all are coupled i.e. compnent has an audio; DVI has a stupid earphone like jack that goes with it so I need an RCA to this jack (3.5 mm or something) to hear sound on TV speakers. Gimmick or no HDMI would solve this on this otherwise...

Need the Following information From Voom Subs

Sharp 34 inch LCD AQUOS. DVI in at 1080i. PQ is fantastic on both HD and SD. Wish there were an HDMI output for VOOM box. I tried component but PQ was awful (ps I thought component could only do 480p?)

Will you stay with VOOM until it goes dark?

I will stay on until things get un-usable. I don't know what all the skeeters talk is! I just watched voom through a blizzard in philly and picture quality was unrivaled. My wife just wants to say that the Ultra channel rocks. for me Worldsport (picture of Homer drolling with HD soccer in...

New install in philly with OTA problems.

Thanks TYORK. I removed the initial diplexor and power pass splitter and sent 2 x sat and UHF straight into the muli-switch. got channels in the rf = 50-60 range right away. then put the sensar II up on a higher mast and recieve 100% of locals on one set and all but one on another. One I...

Hi, Let me just say i appreciate all the info found in these discussions. I have poster a similar thread elsewhere, but prob in wrong place. Let me just say that the voom signal (even on SD is much better than D*). I live in philly about 6 miles from the towers for the locals. they all seem...

Can't recieve any OTA channels > 34 RF!

did channel scan several times. I tried this a few times, including once when all locals have digital content programmed, but I only get 32 -34 rf channels. The intsaller says that I have a line of site problem in the city. This could be true as I am in the middle of a small hill. My...

Can't recieve any OTA channels > 34 RF!

Just had voom installed today. Guy was Reaaaallly slow. His phone rang every five minutes (he must not have voice mail). Anyway. He left while the box was still downloading (about 5 PM). When it was done I realized only recieved 7 stations over the OTA. Basically CBS, UPN, PAX X 4 and PBS...
