I emailed Dish tech support this week end and asked them what they intended to do about the 148 problem. I figure I have been paitent enough. What's it been 3 weeks now? Will post the reply when I get one.

All I can say is if Dish drags their A** on HD and Direct steps up and takes the bull by the horns I will say so long to Dish in a heartbeat...

I had problems until I switched my optical cable out. I had bad dropout problems but a new cable fixed it and I have never had the problem again. (over a month now.)

Disconnecting the Dish cable did not work. Called CSR & they are sending a replacement 811 by UPS Monday.
