Is there a better time of day and or day of the week to try and get the best deal? I'm looking to switch back from Dish. I have the email to get a $300 Visa card so far.

Another issue I noticed. I have a 5 day a week live news show I record. Last night when the live show came on it was not recorded. When I looked at scheduling the show was grayed and lined out and gave the reason that it was either already recorded or would be recording later.

That's more buttons to push when there is plenty room on the specific show listings page to add a delete all button.

I tried hitting the pause button before switching and it didn't work. When I went back I had to start from the beginning.

I'd rather not have to unnecessarily hit the pause button twice when the bottom of the screen can easily display the timeline when I hit the skip button. My time is valuable. :)

I'm at the end of my DTV contract. I tried to stay by getting a Genie 2 and 5 4K wired mini Genies. The installer showed up with 5 wireless mini Genies and let me know that I had to have 5 4K TVs to get 5 4K mini Genies. I only have one 4K TV but plan on getting more within my 2-year commitment...

My Directv contract is up and I really want to switch to Dish but this problem would annoy the hell out of me.

I ended up sticking with Directv with a 1 year contract at $50 off/month. When a new receiver comes out I will decide if I want to do a 2 year contract to get the new equipment.

Went great. I'm in hog heaven. Having 5 tuners eliminates conflicts. Now I'm back to whole shows being recorded. Before with Dish the end of non-Prime Time recorded shows got chopped off. I still have the same occasional slow remote response but I can tolerate that.

Now that I'm back with the good guys, is there a way to increase the seconds to 10 for the backup button? 10 seconds worked better for me when I had Dish. Now sometimes I have to press it 4 or 5 times to get back to the start of show after a commercial.
