    A video especially for Scott

Hmm being Android, could this work with 4:2:2 content? The GPU may not be capable but it might be able to do SD with its CPU.

Maxpeak SAM-Lite 2 DVB-S2 Satellite Meter with Scientific Mode.

Quick video of my new Maxpeak SAM-Lite 2 DVB-S2 Satellite Meter running in "Scientific Mode" Saw a need for a decent S2 meter, grabbed it off eBay for a great price, this will become my secondary and my DVB-S Horzion still my primary meter. Does everything I need it to. Reuters DVB-S2 is on...

    Al Jazeera Is Now Scrambled

Bit of a surprise to see Al Jazeera America pop up in my skies on 20E Arabsat 5C in C-Band on an Al Jazeera transponder. She's a powerful bird so my 1.2M "MiniBud" is more than an easy catch, very interesting bird is 5C, Iranians are there too. Complete with US adverts.

Recent Test Card/Pattern Finds here in UK

No all the BBC Testcards were part of a overnight airing of recreations of testcards used by the BBC before BBC HD closedown permanently and replaced with BBC Two HD. Pages from Ceefax ended October of last year.

    Why I need a receiver with 4:2:2

H.264 4:2:2 is in use here in Europe on an increasingly wider scale it would be nice to see a receiver with this built in but I am happy continuing to use a PCIe card as I have done for good few years now.

1m Prime Focus Portable (Possibly Nokia?) - South Wales. UK

Yeah the photo and screenshots are obscured by the videos. Think I'm going to love this dish a lot.

1m Prime Focus Portable (Possibly Nokia?) - South Wales. UK

Yes it's part of why I enjoy satellite trying to catch satellites that are not meant to be able to be received here. But I used RTR Planet (its actually RTR Proper minus the soccer) as a test since I know what I should be able to get since the prime focus dish is a new one for me. Plan to take...

1m Prime Focus Portable (Possibly Nokia?) - South Wales. UK

1m Prime Focus Portable (Possibly Nokia?) receiving 4.8E Nordic Beam RTR Planeta here in South Wales, this beam is meant to be out of reception area here in South Wales but in reality I am on the very edge of reception with a 1m so a great catch on such an old dish.

What it's like on this side of the pond (Satellite Feeds of 2012 US Presidential Election)

Not much of a call for HD feeds of news to be honest, and most feeds are DVB-S2 now here in Europe.

What it's like on this side of the pond (Satellite Feeds of 2012 US Presidential Election)

Which satellite I am very interested what birds are used out there for feeds. Thanks, found nearly all of these on gut idea where things maybe and looking at the spectrum graph my TBS card can produce and blindscanning active frequency ranges. I put them all into a favourites list, they'll...

    How Low Can You GO?

I used to be able to go to 58W but my current dish sees 45W-45E. 58W sure is a funny looking position to look at the dish here in the UK on a diseqc motor.

127.0W Galaxy 13 BBC Channel still up?

BBC isn't a network, it's a multi channel broadcaster either commercial or public depending on the channel, BBC World and the BBC for UK audiences are separate entities. NHK World I believe is funded by the Japanese license fee unlike BBC World which is not funded by the UK's neither does it...

127.0W Galaxy 13 BBC Channel still up?

BBC World is funded by advertising/carriage deals so I can understand them not willing to pay for international distribution in HD unless someone offers up the cash.
