Moving to a new home new home wiring

This is false btw. I do wall fish wiring everyday. And we dont charge extra. If you get a retailer to do the install it might be a different story, but Dish Techs do this all day long

    Check your wall plates

You want dish to pull out their shock rods and zap us?? lol most of us techs do this regularly. And yes we carry them on our trucks.

    Barrel Connectors Question

Blue barrels pass 3 GHz which the hopper needs, the joeys dont however if you are running 2 hopper than the whole install needs rg6 3 GHz wire AND barrels. We are told to replace all white and grey barrels

I see you are in Tampa, one of my fellow installers should have been your installer. We know not to touch the joeys until the hopper is up, I wonder why he didnt. But anyways some techs are having to go out multiple times to fix the joeys. We havnt figured out the cause although I find the above...

    Hopper Commercial Misleading

Which is pretty sweet cause at least for me that covers ~60% - 70% of the shows i like to watch. It uses one tuner to record 4 chan and doesnt use your hard drive. seems like a sweet deal to me

Moving to a new home new home wiring

I do it all the time. Make sure to chose walls for your tv's that can be wall fished from the attic. If you use an outside facing wall for your tvs, or have cathedral ceilings a wall fish would be difficult if not impossible. Dish Techs will run the wires for you the best we can. We need 3 feet...

From DISH on the Hopper Internet Connector (HIC) and DLNA

From what we've been trained, a HIC to a joey will connect the entire install. Even if it is a 2 Hopper system. Internet to one hopper should bring the same result. Since both Hoppers are connected to a duel Node they are not separate networks. My handful of installs have all been 1hopper 2joey...
