Is it possible to change the channel or start and stop DVR playback on a joey in another room from the hopper? I ask because my 3 year old wants to watch recording which means I have to get up every 30 minutes and start another playback or change the channel.

So they installed my hopper and joey system and im only getting 64 percent signal strength. The installer said this is normal and that the actual signal strength is much higher but the hopper will only show between 60-70%. Is this true? Sounds fishy to me.

Maybe they are just now being hyper vigilante on rules that are in the lease that just have not been enforced up till now. Id get ahold of the lease and read through it.

The only way to do that would be to either fish a HDMI or a component cable from the joey to the second tv. Or as some have figured out the Joey doesn't have to have a MOCA connection to work, so you could move it to the other room just don't expect dish to support using it in that way. Perhaps...
