Are you sure about that? Until i bridged any attempt to view on-demand guide would pop up a menu that said something to the effect hook to the internet to use on-demand.

I am new to dish and to the hopper. It is my understanding that the hooper does not allow you to access dishonline content. If this is correct, would this not be just the thing for a hopper app?

Ok I have been doing some playing with this and I think it does both. Maybe someone else can test this too as I did not have much in my buffer. It appears to me that if it's paused it starts there. If its not paused (or you un-pause first) then hit record it keeps the buffer.
