Thanks I really like Directv and was just curious. I am so happy to dump Charter. I had Directv 2 years ago but with no locals. The last promotion was to good to pass up. Free HD/DVR. I am a happy consumer. :-)

In this forum Dish Network always has 1000 viewers or so and Directv usually has around 250 people viewing these forums at any given time. I always thought Directv has way more subscribers than Dish Network. Just curious.

I must say dumping Charter was the best thing I could have done. I am saving quite a bit of money with way more channels including HD. I am one happy customer. My signals are all in the upper 90's.

Disgrace is right Discovery HD looks terrible. I recently switched from Charter and I have to say that Charter HD blows Directv away. Discovery HD on Charter as well as others were incredible. I'm so ticked.

If I changed my service address to Cambridge Ma. Can I receive locals (in Boston) in HD? I have a in law that lives there. Thanks

I have HD Direct Tv and a 3 LNB Dish. I am having a hell of a time trying to lock in on all 3 sats. I can get one but not the other two. I can locate all of them but can't lock in to all 3 without losing one or the other.. I thought I read that once I have one sat the rest should be close by...
