    Big Shake-up to Happen on 99w and 101w C-band

During the wee cold winter months earlier this year, I couldn't put in satellite dishes easily, but there was one channel I really wanted to get. A couple of hours later, I FOUND THE IP FEED. http://www.rcrq.com/radiocraft.asx If I've done it once, I'm sure we could put our heads together and...

    Escapes Channel

I wrote to them a week ago and here is what I got back: ... We really appreciate your interest in eScapes and the time you took to write to us. Yes, at one time we were an open signal, but we couldn't find a way to support ourselves that way. We're still under an agreement with the NCTC, and...

    KRBK

Ohh my. I did another comparison and my PC tuner locked and tuned instantly, the Nano took a few seconds. Before a lock, I get 'No Signal'. Nano: 76% quality. PC: 82% quality. I have had times when the PC had block errors, when the Nano had perfect signal.

    AMC-2 to Serve North America

That's quite a bit of precision. Where did you get that information from? With them being end of life, I wonder how much more use they expect to get from them.

    breaking the cardnial rule.

That would be KIMA. Not the best idea. I'm not too concerned because it's only SD. And we can get CBS HD from other sources.

    New guy help again.

I started with a 10 foot BUD too. I used Dexpan to break the concrete it was mounted in. I also found that a $15 signal meter helps to find signals.

Is their any good reason to have a 16foot C-band satellite dish any more?

If I found a dish that size, I'd pick it up in a heartbeat.

Contest: Enter to Win a Titanium Satellite C1W-PLL Wideband LNBF - Ends 3/17/2014

Why am I looking forward to spring? It was a rough winter. Grandma got run over by a reindeer walking home from our house Christmas Eve. That groundhog... he'll never see his shadow again. Spring is coming early and I'm planting my dish farm now. I have some ambitious plans and all parts are...

So which of you is this?

Great picture! I did some more investigating and found that it is on WestField Avenue in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Here is the Google Earth street-level view. It looks like this was back 'in the day' when he only had 3 dishes.
