I had an HDMI problem with my first 622, but the replacement has been great. The software has stabilized and I just love the 622. (Some of the extra fees really grate on me though!)

Also, make sure you have your HD receiver is not outputting 480i or p. (It should be 1080i or 720p depending on your set).

It's not necessarily the injunction because Sirius channels are out. And a friend who has Atlanta stations says they're out as well (Not DNS). This may be a massive technical problem.

Does your TV have a built-in QAM tuner? (Does it have a place for a cable card?) If so, then you COULD get your local stations in HD. If not, then you have to have a cable box.

My 622 HDMI worked for the first 5 or 6 weeks, then...nothing! This is frustrating, but not as frustrating as when the 622 re-boots in the middle of live and pre-recorded programs.

I wouldn't get my panties in a wad, yet. We don't know what requirements there will be to get these new channels. It's exciting to know they're uplinked, but don't complain about who's getting what until Dish announces they're available! I expect all 3 non-movie channels to be in all HD...

It's all about money. The west coast wants the maximum number of folks to watch and most folks aren't home at 5:00.
