The problem I have with this service is no local channels in my area. ABC, FOX, and NBC shows are not live just a few shows are available as on demand. Errors keep popping up such as 'Science' had some trouble loading. Please try again later. (QP1502). Why not have distant locals?

It's a device called the Hopper Internet Connector (HIC) that connects to the network (ethernet) and connects to the COAX MoCA network. It provides a network connection for all Hoppers and Joeys connected to the Solo/Duo Node.

Just got off the phone with tech support. It's a known issue. Two Hoppers with Sling will not communicate with each other unless you add either a Hopper without Sling or a Joey. Anyway, I am happy to have two hoppers with sling.

I contacted the installer. They are going to try installing a HIC and see if that works. It's ordered for Monday 1/28. Doesn't make any sense to me. Both Hoppers have the capability to be wireless or ethernet connected, but something is needed to get the MoCA network going.

In the MoCA section, there are four bars, but they are not green, the left bar is white, then grey, darker grey, and darker grey. I'm pretty sure that this indicates that MoCA is turned off.
