    Dish would not replace my 722 receiver although it never worked properly. We bought a new 722K from a company through Amazon. It was cheaper than Dish and works very well.

    We have two 622's. My son installed both. He installed a 721 which we replaced with the 622. We had no problem activating the 622's. He did learn along the way so the second one was easier to install. We bought the receivers from the DishStore because we were not qualified for the upgrade...

    Why so little Closed Captioning on HD

    I am hard of hearing and have a real problem with the lack of closed captioning. I use headphones sometimes which helps. It is also a problem when the closed captioning gets behind the actual sound.

    Did I understand someone to say you can't get 129 in NE? My son has been trying to get that satellite for his 622 receiver. I found a chart suggesting Az 205 el 35 for our area code. He hasn't tried it yet. Ilee

    I tried my dish home this evening . Surprise, it locked up. I hadn't read to the message where you hit the dish home button. I will try that next time. I disconnected it instead. Actually I didn't suppose the 721 would ever get an upgrade.

    What upgrade did you get? My 721 has been acting a little strange. Had to pull the plug to get it to work yesterday.

    The UHF remote should not eat batteries!

    My defective remote is being replaced, but I am being charged for shipping and handling. Is this the usual practice? We had upgraded from the 501 to the 510 and are curently using the 501 remote.
