That seems to do the trick. Thanks for the suggestion. [emoji1303]

Loud High Pitched Noise on H3.

Well, guess we can cross our fingers and hope it goes away with the next update.

Loud High Pitched Noise on H3.

I’ll definitely try switching the cable, but I am suspicious of the Sony update.

Loud High Pitched Noise on H3.

I think you’re right. I had forgotten that I did get a Sony update last week. That’s got to be it. I don’t know how good Sony is about fixing issues like this, but I can see this being a “forever” issue.

Interesting. It’s an HDMI connection, though.

Loud High Pitched Noise on H3.

It’s pretty consistent for me if I try and slo mo. Otherwise it’s kind of hit and miss, but often startling since it tends to be a bit louder than the program audio.

Loud High Pitched Noise on H3.

It’s coming from the speakers, not the H3 box itself. Have had the same setup for a couple of years. This just started. I may have to call. I always dread that.

Loud High Pitched Noise on H3.

For the past several days I have been noticing that while performing certain functions such as pause, slow motion, and other DVR related functions, I occasionally get a very loud high-pitched noise. I have tried rebooting the H3, to no avail. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. H3...

Installing my first used C-Band dish. Will these components still work?

On the way home, I stopped by a local welding shop and had them weld a 12" angle iron near one of the ends of the pipe, the end that goes in the hole. This will prevents any possible rotation of the pipe in the ground, which will throw your dish...

    Hopper 3 with Hopper XIP813

I'm thinking that's going to be the way to go. I know that the cable that comes from the dish is a straight run. I don't see any other electronics in the line. Regardless tho, I don't mind the additional dish. Just means they're going to have to roll a tech out to do it. I recently moved here...

I don't know that I'm at liberty to discuss, so I won't for now. [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hopper 3 with Hopper XIP813

Okay... I suspected that might be the case. Looks like I'll have to run an additional coax for the additional dish. Thanks for the reply, Pepper.

    Hopper 3 with Hopper XIP813

I currently have the Hopper 3 and will be adding an original (XIP813) Hopper to my setup. The question is... will the older XIP813 work with the dish (LNBF) that was installed with the Hopper 3? I'd like to use the two units side-by-side. The XIP813 is a beta unit and I'd like to be able to...
