Thanks for the positive vibe...TV has gotten so expensive and it seems like the consumer ALWAYS suffers. It is just TV and that what makes it a little frustrating it is just TV and look how they make thousands of subscribers suffer for it.

Thanks. I wanted to make sure I wasn't paying more for less. $15.99 for HBO hurts! I was considering upping my receiver to the DISH Player DuoDVR™625 so I could add an external Hard Drive to it. I don't have a flat screen so I didn't think HD channels were really necessary.

I didn't know that it was basically the same... I saw that some customers were able to add external hard drives and saw that the 522 is not compatible with that feature. I'll stick with what have.
