    DIRECTV Down?

Along with the channel outages, Guide Data is not available. Do not reset your receivers !! Without the guide data they will not work.

    4K channels are on

Anyone stuck on 480 can change that on the banner menu. Slide over to Audio / Video and change the resolution to the one that you desire. It will stay that way on all channels, except the 4k ones. The last update screwed up the native on native off option.

    HR54

Didn't know the last number was manufacturer. Thanks for that. I heard a rumor that a newer version may be in the works, thought that the 2 would indicate that. Would we be looking for a LNBR1-01 rather than LNBR0-01 then ? That's me assuming that the R stands for rev.

The Reverse Band LNB's are coming!

The H24 and 25 both work, as does the H21.

    Multisat dish w/5LB

As Joseph says, this will not work correctly. That's why I asked what you meant by spiting the signal. You need each line to be a homerun, as well as having BBCs connected to the H20s.
  11. rockaway1836

    Multisat dish w/5LB

You need one for each HD receiver. What do you mean by split the signal?
  12. rockaway1836

    Multisat dish w/5LB

No, the arm length does not seem to be a factor. The broad band converter (BBCs) are the little gray or black boxes that connect to the back of the receiver. They come with H20 and H21 receivers as well as with HR20, 21, and 22 DVRs. And I think, but am not sure of the r22 The 23 series does not...

    Multisat dish w/5LB

The phase 3 dish works. It's the small one that says multi sat on the front of it. Like this. 18 Inch x 20 Inch Triple LNB DIRECTV Multi-Satellite Dish Antenna (OD1820-BX) | KT1820BXLNB [DIRECTV] | Phase 3 Phase III 3-LNB 3-LNBF triple-lnb dish directv hd compatible directv dish 1820dish 1820...

    Multisat dish w/5LB

It will work. You just need to use the setting for a Slimline. It takes some extra TLC to point it. You will be able to pick up 101,99,and 103 just fine. 110 and 119 will be a bear to get anything at all. Since most don't really need them anymore anyway it no big deal. I found it works best with...

    Yankee Fan on the Move

Keeping the NJ address will allow all the NY RSNs as well as the 4 major networks to be seen in NC. (2,4,5,7) You won't be able to see channels 9, 11, 13, and anything higher up the dial.

    H21-100 & -200 CE Release 12/19 0x42A7

I have not seen any change as far as refresh goes. But I did pick up a trick at DBS. When you have the play list diplayed on the H21 hit the yellow button, then change the order of playlist. The list will refresh on it's own without a reset. It's not a perfect solution, but it beats the Hell out...

    Area blackout for NASA???

It's gotten better since I posted this Getting a upgrade install this morning - High Def Forum - Your High Definition Community & High Definition Resource this morning. It was really nuts watching the signals change on 101 earlier.

    Area blackout for NASA???

I'm getting " Game search didn't find your program" "Education File is blacked out on this channel" "Sorry, it is not viewable on any other channels" There are problems with the 101 sat this morning. It must be related to that
  20. rockaway1836

Sats 99s and 103s , my readings are as follows:

Those are spot beams. Some will be high some will be low. As long as you are not missing any stations don't sweat it. You have a couple in the 90s. Most likley those are the ones that cover you.
  21. rockaway1836

No signal on 99 or 103 and no HD

Yes the phase 3 is the original HD dish. It does not have the fine tunning adjustments that the slimline has, but I never use those anyway. It takes a little TLC and it is very sensitve but it's not really hard to do. Just use the settings for either a 5lnb or 3lnb slimline. Peak it at 101 then...

No signal on 99 or 103 and no HD

Funny you should ask. Just today I made a tailgate dish with one of them and a phase 3 dish.

HELP!!! Is this a common issue

When I lived in NY it was rare to lose signal in snow storms. However it did happen from time to time. Most times I found that it was from the snow building up on the dish arm and LNB enough to block the signal from the dish. Sometimes even the dish would be covered, but that was really rare...
