Follow the sales. Roku sometimes offers better deals than Amazon for its own device. They are so inexpensive. Get both. Roku lets you arrange all the the streaming apps. Amazon believes theirs is superior to others!!!

I can confirm what Dishrich says. You can force it to rerecord. If you already deleted the previous recording the Guide shows the red dot, not the gray dot.

Pretty sure the friend used Google to do his search for a Dish number. Of course, Google prioritizes the sites (that pay) since they need the revenue! It is easy to fall into that trap.
