Based on reading replies on this thread those with Original Hopper + Sling adapter have to upgrade to a newer hopper. Sounds right? How much are the upgrades running for right now? This is a killer feature I've been looking for. :whoo:

My guess is that your experience will be awful with lots of buffeering/freezes due to limited bandwith. Like mentioned above best bet for this is transfer to Ipad.

What is the benefit of the Hopper with Sling if one's tablet/smartphones are Android? Other than the offline transfers which are only available on Ipad now, it may not be worth to upgrade yet.

I did not clarify but the shows I could not delete were regular shows The shows I could not autohop were not news or live sports but shows like Two and a Half Men, Extreme Makeover, etc

Yep. Looks PTAT is to blame. As soon as PTAT finished all the recordings I could delete the shows without any weirdness
