Thanks for that feedback... I actually just ordered a TVix 4100 box. From what I read it supports everything that I need.. Based on the 4000/5000 reviews it looks like these boxes are pretty decent actually. I'll post back on here once I have it and had a chance to play with it!

Do you have any experience with this box? It doesn't look like it will do MP4 though.. That's what I seem to keep running into. Something might do MP4, but won't take 1080i MPEG 2 TS or the other way around.. :)

That's a bummer. Same here with the newsfeeds. Would be nice to automate some of that scanning and with a PC, even record some of it automatically. ;) Hopefully some other company will see the light and come out with a PCI card that CAN do blind scanning... Thanks, Robbert

Iceberg, The Pansat works ok, but I'm frustrated with the slow scanning speed. If I'm looking for feeds, by the time it's done scanning the feeds are already gone.. ;) From what I hear from you guys, the Coolsat does this a bit faster, so it might be worth upgrading... I don't use the card...

Yeah, that's true, although it's gotten better with the latest firmware that I installed on there a couple of weeks ago. But sometimes it will sit there for a few minutes on those TP's. Unfortunately you never know what something is unless you have a PC with Lyngsat open at the same time or you...

It Finally Works!! I just got my NEW Spaun 4x1 DiSEqC in and it finally seems to work.. I guess I really do have 4 bad switches!! The Spaun wasn't cheap ($40), but then again, my 4 other switches also add up to $40... :) I've tried it a few times now, and I haven't had any switching "errors"...
