    The switch ck should only be 1-4 not 38. I would make them change LNB, replace ALL cable connections (ground block) and diplexor

    But can you add a channel with out doing a scan, the 722 you can rescan and keep the channels from last scan or just put in a single one with no scan. All this is needed if you have a rotor and change directions for other stations.

    One good reason is for OTA tuners for local stations, I record programs from subchannels that dish does not carry. From what I understand the Hopper is not as good as the 622 or 722 when it can not add OTA channels

    John I have a UN55 JU 6500 it was a replacement for my Samsung 8500 plasma and have a dish 612 and 722. You can get 4K with the JU5500 from Netflix and Youtube . If I could I would go back to my 50in plasma see how this 4K works out,

    I have 2 722ks w/ehd I only plug in the USB when I use the EHD, just plug it in when needed. You need a HDMI switch , not a splitter

    You can not record on TV2, TV2 is output for second TV. You record on tuner 1 and 2 and MUST have a cable to both tuner 1 and 2 on rear of 722 or a separator from cable from dish.
