    I want D* to add any channel that the channel owners label HD. I don't care if that channel will not have any HD programming for awhile. I do not want D* to start having a threshold of certain amount HD programming before they add that channel.

    NHL Network and Center Ice in HD?

    I have read that Comcast told it's subs that the NHL Network will launch on Oct 1st, nothing about wheter it will be in HD. I would hope that when D* launches the rsn's in HD , more HD NHL games could be NHLCI.

    I just looked at his bills and they say nothing on them about being under any 1 yr commitment time.He bought it almost two yrs ago. I wonder how many old de-activated receivers are out there ? I wonder if it had been a leased receiver if they would have wanted it back or just said toss it...

    I have been with D* for almost 10 years. I really didn't need it , but would have used it to replace one of my older receivers. Maybe the throw it in the trash policy will change with the new ownership of D* .

    My neighbor just passed away, leaving me his very modest estate. I called D* to cancel his service and inquired if I could take his D10 transfer it to my account with a new access card. She told no it couldn't be done and to just toss it in trash. Anyone know if this proper D* procedure ?

    So is Dish and the cable companies willing to add the 24/7 baseball channel from MLB to the basic tier like D* ? And what about the $30 million difference from what the cable companies were offering than what D* paid? Does MLB have to take less money and negotiate terms for the MLB 24/7...
