They WERE new only, but had changed to new and reruns for reasons I don't understand. After reading this thread I figured this out and changed them back to new only. How did they change? I am very careful not to pick up reruns (unless I want them). Leads to bloat in the "my recordings" listings...

This has been happening all Fall. I am getting many recordings posting in "my recordings" for reruns from earlier in the season for programs I watch which have quit airing new shows. This has not happened in previous seasons. Right now it is very frequent. This is becoming very irritating...

Discovery Wings - went military quickly. There is a lot of aviation that is not military. I would not mind a mix, but Discovery Military is something I seldom watch. Aviation more general would attract me frequently.

Al Jazeera comes in HD and is down-converted to SD. Content isn't that bad. If you want propaganda, go see what RT is running on Ukraine right now.

I miss Discovery Wings and wish they'd included all the non-military aviation available.

After the last update (3-3-14 8:41 a.m.) I could not input numbers with the remote without entering "guide". (Settings/Diagnostics/Backup Wizard shows the last backup date). I restored first the remote, then the hopper and it worked normally after a hard reset. I've never had this happen...

My Hopper is doing that lately going to channel 2 from nearly anywhere. But only channel 2. The rest take 2-3 seconds, as always (gives me a chance to change my mind. I've come to regard it as a feature).
