evidently whichever idiot set up the original work order for my hd dvr install DID NOT set up the date correctly. so the installation company called to schedule the date. this is insane as i ordered this like 6 weeks ago scheduled for another 6 weeks from now! that is mostly b/c of the delay...

spoke with a csr last week. looks like they are saying that those of us in buffalo ny may not get a free dish upgrade from 3lnb to 5lnb b/c the mpeg4 "can be carried on the existing hardware" that seems strange to me...

that is a great deal. Similar to the one I got in november. 6 months free hd package, h20, free install, free 4x8 multiswitch, OTA.... all for $150 - $200 rebate...and the rebate just came :)

the universal hd channel is great. I am happy with the quality and variety of channels having olympic coverage this year. I am druling over the olympics in HD (so happy with my new tv :))
