    Rangers On Msg

itsa buncha bs my friend Dtv and we know all about it. It's about "territory" and what "market area" you belong to. In other words, how far local transmitting towers can topographically push. Like me, my customers and I are buried in the Catskill Mountains, but according to Dtvs magniificent...

    new dish pictures

Guys... the dish has gotta go, where the dish has gotta go. Sight line is crucial, regardless on how the dish looks, or, makes your house look unsightly.Just the way it is, make sure you bust the installers balls on neatness/wire tidyness, ect...

H20 Setup With 3LNB Oval Dish Question?

Dealing withe CSRs can be a bit frustrating, I've found after dealing with these clowns since '94. Your best bet is hanging up and calling right back, and dealing with a "qualaified" rep who knows what the hell they're doing.

    We want more HD channels!

Douche Notwork is a joke to me, fellow installers. DTV not that far behind them. People ask me, "which is better?" I reply, "They both suck, its only tv". Both have the same guessin' game goin' on for the retailers/installers. HD programming takes HD cameras, so, only time will tell on this...

Moving to a house with a BUD... where should I start learning? :)

C-band is where all the programming originates, just remember that-Make sure the dish tracks the arc, the motor is in good shape, and the pole aint lifting out of the ground. Channels are still there, but it isn't like the days of old when a dish picked up everything for FREE!

direct tv - switching to HD

No offense friend but if you want it done right, and hopefully "whoever" shows up to do the work might actually care about setting your system up correctly, be willing to pay for someone's true labor. If you nickel and dime it, thats what you might wind up getting. HDs gonna be $11 a month...

    C/Ku feedhorn question

As long as he has a dish in the arc, then ya got a chance. 4D might work with that size dish as long as its aligned correctly. If he likes to tinker/peter with things, an FTA is a great sidecar to the Toshiba. Tell 'em to drop Douche Notwork
