Confused about upgrading from a 211 to a 622... 1) I got a 211, would i be considered the same as someone who doesnt have hd (meaning $199 upgrade) or would i be considered the same as someone with a 921/942 (meaning $199 - bonus - returned receiver credit??) ? 2) Is the line above ALREADY...

When browsing the guide, is there any way to change to a channel, but still be in the guide, to have it show up in the small window top right?

Good news to me as i cant get any good cable around here :( Anyone know if/when E* will get the premium channels in hd (and why don't they have them already? bw/space?) I sure hope worldsport wont be bundled with the other sports package :D i only watch soccer.

I havent had time to run my phone cables yet to the boxes. Any idea when/with what software release the phoneline will be necessary? At least one of my boxes got the update last night/this morning. It locked up first and when my wife reset it, it started the dl.

Just forced the new software, worked great. Food channel is not working. Trying on the other box now.

At first i found it a bit annoying, but like everything, you will get used to it. Ads bring in money, money helps the site stay alive. If i can get the info i want, without having to pay, and seeing ads in return, no big deal at all.

Yea, i will unplug them. I have done it multiple times before when i had ota problems on the initial install. The diplexer is inside, but its one of those gold colored small ones, not the ones that had the problems reported in what... april/may. Good idea about moving the boxes, will try it...

The receiver that works actually got the longest cable run. I didnt have time to switch ota modules last night. Will do this afternoon.

Got 2 receivers. One can receive 46 (cbs in atl, ga). The other one can not. After CSI:NY I'm going to switch ota modules and see what happens. I've tried front resetting it, I've tried unplugging in, take out the ota part, stick it back in. No-go on this channel, all others work though. But...

got it.. I have to use PLIIx Music, and adjust the center width. Only works under the PLIIx Music mode. I cant change that part in the game/movie mode. but now i got output from more than the center channel on some channels ;)
