    I have a 622 on order - should be here in a day or 2 - so I'm looking for a good up-convert DVD recorder. All that I see are a bit pricey. But then I see that the 622 has 2 USB ports. I'm thinking I'll stick with an up-convert player for now - So ...can I record a program on the internal HDD...

    Dishpro 1000 & DP34

    I'm trying to hook up my dishpro 100 dish with a dishpro quad lnb (not dishpro +) and a dishpro dual lnb ( for sat at 129). The 1000 came with a dishpro + lnb but that will require a DP44 switch - which I don't have. I DO have a dp 34, and certainly dont mind running the extra cable to my 942...
