    I have a hd dvr in the rec room downstairs,it has two coax to it and I have a standard box upstairs, with one coax to that. I want to get a standard dvr for the upstairs sony trinitron analog,do I have to run another line upstairs from the dish and how do you do that if need be?

    I got a hdmi from monoprice cheep, but you know what I think my component looks better because the hdmi is like too dim and thats on my d-hr21-100,I dont need hdmi anyway because Im hooked up audio to a 5.1 digital receiver w/fiber optic.

    I sent my am21 back for the same reason only records 2, as for off air in rain out I use my kitchen tv w/antena and get my locals just fine not hd . d emailed me and said am21 had no warrenty so I wonder if ill get credit or if d will send it back.

    Dish DVR Vs. Cox DVR Vs. TiVo?

    cox omaha ne stinks my dvr skips,sound goes out recording it cant catch up I have to reboot it all the time. call cox for a signal boost, lousy programming . better stick with dish.Im thinking of going to dish because of the high price of cox and the dvr issue, moto dvr huh.

    help with optical audio connection--no volume

    did you look on your tvs remote for a digital in button? tvs sterio isnt that great i put my fiber optic audio from my 5.1 receiver to my cable box and then set receiver to digital audio so it will go to pro logic II if it isnt brodcast in 5.1
