I had this same problem this morning. Also using FireFox. I went under Tools > Clear Recent History > Clear Now, selecting Everything. Works fine now.

Tailgater system, am I having a problem or is it simply where I am located?

Yes, I am trying this from just outside my house. My home system gets about a 40+ on the signal strength for the same satellite/transponder.

Tailgater system, am I having a problem or is it simply where I am located?

I unboxed my new Tailgater yesterday and within minutes after hooking everything up I had a signal. I then called and had the receiver activated. Everything works fine with the exception of the 129° satellite. While I seem to not have any issues with the general HD channels on the 129°...

1000.2 or 1000.4 lnb for my traveling Hopper RV setup?

I feel like I am going to be competent enough at setting up the dish. I had been doing a DirecTV 5-lnb dish for quite a while now. I had thought of purchasing a First Strike FS1 meter for a new Dish setup for the RV to make the dish pointing easier. Would you suggest that I go with the 1000.4...

1000.2 or 1000.4 lnb for my traveling Hopper RV setup?

I live in the Pittsburgh, PA market and just recently switched to Dish Network. I plan on taking a Hopper with me camping. I need to purchase the dish, node, lnb, signal meter, etc. Is there a way to receive my locals while I am on the road from the Pittsburgh market? Will the purchase of a...

I need help creating my RV Dish shopping list.

I recently switched from DirecTV to Dish. I had everything necessary to take my equipment on the road with me but now I am starting over. I already have a tripod that I was using so I think that I'm good to go with that. I plan on taking my Hopper and one Joey with me. I reside in western PA...

Hopper with Sling / DishOnline won't work outside the network

So, I don't know what the difference was late yesterday afternoon but it all of the sudden began to work. I tried it in the morning and continued to get errors. Later in the day I tried it again and it worked. Why? I have no idea. Now that it is working I've got to tell you that this is...

Hopper with Sling / DishOnline won't work outside the network

I've made five separate calls this week to Dish to try to get service with this Sling Adapter. I still have nothing viewable outside of my home network. Why do they not have anyone on their support staff that can help with this issue? I was really looking forward to using this function but it...

Hopper with Sling / DishOnline won't work outside the network

I am having the same issue that is mentioned earlier in this post but I don't see the fix listed here. I just plugged in this adapter yesterday and have no problems from the house within my own network but I can't get anything away from home. Do I have to call Dish to have something turned on...

    2 Hopper - 3 Joey - Network issues

A quick followup on this..... I had a service tech out yesterday and he eventually found that the problem was a defective Joey. After it was replaced, all worked fine.

    2 Hopper - 3 Joey - Network issues

I just got a 2 Hopper, 3 Joey system installed this past Saturday. The two Joeys that are linked to Hopper A are able to view/access recordings from either Hopper. The Joey hooked up to Hopper B can only play recordings on Hopper B. When I try to use this Joey to view recordings from Hopper...

    Hopper as a standalone receiver

Thanks again and yes, I believe so. I would be wanting to pick up the locals from the Pittsburgh area. Eastern reads like the way to go.

    Hopper as a standalone receiver

My location is western Pennsylvania and I would want to be able to pick up HD programming. Which model lnb setup do you think would best work for me? Thanks again. This place provides a wealth of and quick reply of information.

    Hopper as a standalone receiver

Thanks TheKrell for the info. Obviously I am new to Dish Network and I'm relying on the advise that I get here to make this switch. What determines which of the two antennas that you've mentioned, between both the 1000.2 (western arc) or 1000.4 (eastern arc) dish? Is it my geographical...

    Hopper as a standalone receiver

I'm thinking of switching to Dish Network. I spoke to a rep at Dish and was told for my setup, (5 HDTV's), I'd need 2 Hoppers and 3 Joeys. My question is, can I take that second Hopper with me when I go camping and hook it up to another Dish Network satellite dish so I can have satellite TV...

    NASCAR HotPass on D*

A representative from DirecTV was on XM144 the other day and did address this question. He did say that if a driver that they are covering falls out of the race that they will change to another driver; probably a teammate. Also, the price is $79 right now. Presently you can't order it...

Recording D* programming from an H20 receiver

I record from my H20 to a RCA DVD recorder almost every day. I have it hooked up to the RGB cables and I am able to record in the 16:9 or 4:3 format. In the one or two hour recording mode, the picture quality is great. Anything over that and the picture degrades. I think that you can record...
