That was on 12152. I did a blind scan after I got the signal working and I think I'm getting all of the channels. There's a few scrambled channels which are labled "nagravision" "viacess" and "irdeto." I'm guessing this is normal?

I'm getting about 85% in signal strength and between 70-80% in signal quality. Is that good?

I seem to have a different kind of mount. I've attached a pic from the website. Do I use that bronze colored stabilizer plate to align at the right elevation? And also do I align with the front of the bronze thing (the side closer to the dish) or the back (the side closer to the pole)?

Another question. When I go to set my elevation at 44 degrees do I just loosen the screws and tilt the dish until the stabilizer plate is in line with the 44 degree mark on it? Or does the signal come in at a higher elevation into the dish which would mean I'd have to set the numerical value on...

When I change switch from Diseqc to None the input automatically switches from LNB1 to NONE, is that ok?

Okay so I just got a brand new system from sadoun. It was the following Fortec Star 90U dish Mercury II Receiver Invacom .3db LNBF I set it up as close to 44 degrees elevation as I could tell, and pointed the dish at 130 degrees from north. I proceeded to move it around bit by bit, but...

Yea it's VERY slow which made setting it up very irritating. The set as a whole was just very old and hard to configure so I just ordered a new system and ditched this one (it was free anyways so no loss).

One more question, the system comes with most of what I need to install it correct?

Is this still simple given that the Invacom has a linear shape, whearas the standard is bent at an angle?

What about the skew angle? Do I still have to twist the Invacom LNBF?

PSB, do you think the Invacom LNBF is that much harder to set up than the regular standard LNBF, considering I'm not experienced at all?

PSB, do you think I should just get the regular universal LNBF then? Because they do offer an "upgrade" to Standard for free.

So I think I'm going to order the following, how does this look? S2 System with dish and Mercury II reciever Upgrade to KUL1 Standard LNBF Upgrade to 90u dish I think I'll just hold off on the Invacom if it might be tricky to set up because all I want is IA5 anyways.

So do you guys think I should go with the Invacom LNBF or can I just stick to the stock one offered by Sadoun (and do I have to get the universal or upgrade to Standard...I don't even know what the difference is)?

after many hours of trying I'm fed up with this dish. Afterall its very old and it was given to us for free so I suspect it isn't the best thing or even in the best condition. I think I'm just going to get a new system. Thanks for all the help though.
