How many receivers(VIP211k) can be hooked up direct to a Dish 1000.4?

I thought FSM HD would actually be showing games in HD after changes made Wednesday. No more jip or delays. Only SD last night.:confused:

I live in Il. Been going on now for a couple of weeks. I don't think these stations have lowered there transmitting power, but I have not checked.

All of a sudden I can't get the OTA digital channels I used to receive. Signal strength is to low. One channel is in the upper 50 range and it used to be 95-100. I have same antenna pointed in the same direction. Just wondering if a 211k software upgrade is responsible?

Are the Peoria, Il HD locals mirrored to 61.5? Is there any kind of chart to find out where your HD locals are transmitted from?

Right now I have Silver HD @$10.00 a month and Platinum HD @$10.00. I also have top 200 package. I thought I would I would get Planet Green because I isn't it the old Discovery channel?

I am only getting SD version of Planet Green. HD version is not in guide or list. Any ideas why?:confused:

When did E start using LNB's that look like D's? My neighbor has upgraded to HD recentley and has a Dish 1000 with a 3 lense LNB. They are seperate. I have one larger 2 lense and a smaller 1 lense.

I will be gettiing 811/301/301 package installed 12/8/03. I have a DVI cable and I was wondering if there is an optical digital cable included with the 811. I would like to be ready for the install so if need be I can pick one up today.

Will the new 811 receiver work OK with the current Dish 500 or will a person need the Superdish? All I am interested in is the new HD package. No locals or Showtime/HBO HD. I am not currently a Dish subscriber, but I am seriously considering signing up for the 3 room deal and buying the 811...
