    ViP622 Padding Issue

    I'm having an issue with my ViP622 padding a show 1-minute before it starts. If the show starts at 8 pm, for example, and I try to pad it 1-minute before, the recording starts at 8pm. If I use a 2-minute pad, the recording will start like it's supposed to at 7:58pm. Any ideas?

    Kind of a dumb question... All the marketing materials say that the ViP622's TV2 remote should have a blue key with a #2 at the bottom. Mine came with a black key that says UHF and no number. Does this make any difference in terms of functionality? Thanks!

    VIP622 4:3 Vertical Stripe?

    If you put on the gray side bars instead of the black, sometimes it looks like the image isn't centered between them, but is off-center to the left by 1/2 inch or so. The stripe seems to be more obvious with the black bars.
