The ViP622 will only work by UHF if the unit is in single mode. In dual mode, only TV2 works by UHF. I wish they would have left this feature in the software.

It is my understanding that the 5.1 update is included in L4.01. Also ,there are other receivers (not ViP) that will eventually get the DishComm update.

DishComm is like having a wireless phone jack built-in to the receiver. You need only hook up one phone line in the house to any receiver and all receivers will have dial tone through the AC lines.

Has anyone else experienced audio problems with the HD feed of channel 7 out of Washington, DC? It occurs on a OTA also.

If you are trying to combine satellite signals from two satellites only, you could use a DP21 switch with DISH Network equipment and if you have DirecTV, sorry!

DISH has been working on the DPP33 switch for about a year. Don't expect it to come out until sometime in the first quarter of 2007. The built-in switch that is in the 1000.2 feed works well.

This is a current problem with some 622 receivers. There is no current fix for it. Receiver replacement is the only current option. I'm sure that after they get enough receivers returned for this problem, they will fix it.

Caller ID problems Do you have DSL on the same line? Even with the filter installed, there can be issues with the caller ID not showing up. Sprint (Embarq) has the problem in one of the areas we do work. The problem is with the DSL provider, not the receiver.

DPP 44 Switch You do not need any adaptors with the Legacy receivers. They can hookup to ports 2,3, or 4. Make sure that you hookup either one of the other receivers to port 1 with the power inserter. The 622 or the 301 can hookup to port one, makes no difference.
