    Who killed the Cimarron? (^-^)

Looking at this comparison report with the BMW 325e and the Mercedes 190E, the little Caddy comes out not too bad. Even 30 years ago the German car buyer would never have considered a Caddy, regardless of how good it was. Originally conceived as a BMW 320i & Audi 4000 import fighter, on basic...

'70s rides, decade of disaster or delight?

Maybe that should be Afternoon Delight, if anyone can remember that popular Starline Vocal band song? Lol. Cars from that time can get a bad wrap, but there were some worthwhile things from those days like GM's radial tuned suspension (RTS) and ESC ignition, and some interesting rides. What...

Burt Reynolds - the man, the moustache, the movies :)

I recently picked up a new DVD copy of Cannonball Run II (1983) in shrink wrap for $5, and it reminded me what a great light entertainment star 'ol Burt was. Maybe we should start honoring his films while he is still alive? Hooper (1978) Firebird 6.6 liter V8

    Loss of US brands :(

Thinking of the formerly great American companies which are now in foreign hands or have been axed, like Atari which is French owned (Infogrammes) and Jeep has become Italian (Fiat). And all Obama wants to do is help the banks, it's sad. :(...

    Atari 2600 Secret Quest

I recently got a boxed copy, (it was still in the shrink wrap) of Secret Quest (1989) for my retro collection. Very nice early RPG for the Atari 2600, it's really cool how you can actually save a game and carry on later. Secret Quest
