Second that. Every race that I have watched on SPEED HD has been in 16X9. Check your format to make sure its "Normal" like the other guys said.

Thank you for your response. The 722 is a replacement for the 622. I'll try calling the tech support again. Hope I get someone from tech support that knows how to do this. The last person I spoke to thought that the 622 and 722 were incompatible.

Hi All, I'm sorry if this question has answered already. I went from a 622 receiver to a 722 and when I try to connect the external drive that I used with the 622 to the 722, it says that it needs to reformat it because it has been used by another receiver. Is there any way to work around this...

I thought I was the only one that noticed this but apparently not. My SD channels started looking like crap recently too. Especially my Zee TV and Star India channels. Hope Dish fixes the issue soon. This is like watching a video on You Tube. Sucks!!!

I did the switch too. The sad thing is even if E* adds SPEED HD, we'll have to switch to the Silver HD package. We'll be paying more and will have fewer channels than Absolute HD :mad:

No. F1 needs more drivers that are not afraid to pull out a daring pass for fear of crashing out. Processions are not very exciting to watch. I'd rather watch an attempted pass and a crash rather than a procession :D

Its not 720p but the picture looked a LOT better than the SD coverage. The few races that were on FOX looked really nice. I'll settle for that :D

I'm still hoping that someday he'll return to Formula 1 and add some excitement there :(

SPEED HD Now that the Formula 1 season is almost over and I missed most of the races since I'm on the HD only package (thanks Dish :mad:), is there ANY hope that we'll get to see SPEED HD atleast next season. This is the one channel I wish Dish would move quickly on. Thanks, Bo

The reason I want SPEED HD to be launched is not really for the HD content. It'll save me money because I'm on the HD ONLY package and will be able to watch the F1 races. Right now if I want SPEED, I'll have to jump up to the AT200 package which costs about $30-$40 more :mad:
