My 10' Channel Master after a snow storm last month, looks the same this morning after the 15" of snow we got yesterday:

    Openbox s11

My combo of openbox s9, manhattan rs-1933 and 2 azbox ulra is complete. Think I'll only make an investment if another stb can do 4:2:2 and has a fast blind scan.

    Scanning C-band Again

Nice looking dish Joe hooked you up with. Come back for sure, especially on hd side of things- c band is kicking ku butt.

    Azbox time

i have to agree, if they could do something about the blind scan speed and channel change speed.

any advice on getting an azbox?

You'll only find CBS feeds on Galaxy28. I have 2 azboxes exclusively for 4:2:2 feeds.

    LNBF

A quick google of c/ku band lnbf will bring up many sites which sell those types on lnbfs. A popular one is the dmx741.

    Manhattan Update 3.3 thread

It's not a problem at all. I just thought it quite odd that PAL would show up instead of NTSC which they are. This has come up on all circular sats I have scanned; maybe the receiver gets cofused with circular tp when scanning with a linear feed.

    Manhattan Update 3.3 thread

I've been scanning circular Atlantic sats with the manhattan and it seems incapable of distinguishing between linear and circular feeds. Upon pressing the info button on a circular channel the receiver indicates PAL for video resolution:

    Manhattan Update 3.3 thread

Changed my resolution to 1080i_30 and now channel change works like a charm. This receiver is hooked up to my plasma tv which is capable of 1080i. I'm still not sure that the manhattan pricing is justified but the improvements are definitely a step in the right direction.

    Manhattan Update 3.3 thread

i would like to add my 2 cents as well. The new file is exactly what I was looking for, the only main issue I have is when the receiver changes from sd to hd or hd to sd channel, there is a split second of glitch as it changes between the different video resolutions. Now that the manhattan, in...

    Manhattan 3.2 Firmware Update

I'm using a universal lnb as well with the manhattan on my ku setup. My lnb setting is also set to 9750/10600. My issue is more with the info screen as I stated in my previous post. There must be a setting I could change for that screen to pop up every time I press the i button.

    Manhattan 3.2 Firmware Update

I'm having an issue with the info button. When I want to see channel info and signal quality I press the info button after exiting from the menu and it's all there. If I attempt to repeat I get a record screen. Is there a setting I could use to have the permanent tp info screen?

    Openbox S9 vs Manhattan RS-1933

I never said that it'll show me whether a channel is dvb-s or dvb-s2 but it will tell me what type of hd I'm watching like 1080i for example. The manhattan needs this as this info is vital when I post feeds.

    Openbox S9 vs Manhattan RS-1933

The openbox will tell you exactly what your watching by just pressing the info button once.

    Openbox S9 vs Manhattan RS-1933

I find the openbox s 9 and manhattan quite similar when it comes to tuner sensitivity; nothing tops an azbox. Many channels, like the RTV channels at times on Amc 3 do not scan in or have low signal quality with breakup on s 9 and manhattan but no such issues on the azbox.

    Openbox S9 vs Manhattan RS-1933

Lack of video resolution on the manhattan whereas on the openbox you know exactly what your watching like 720p. 1080i, H.264...........

    AMC 15/18 at 105 W

Those tp and the NBC tp scan in with excellent signal quality here. You may need to tweak your dish or skew your lnbf.
