Thanks Steelersrule for the reply & breakdown of prices. Before this thread, I did not know there was a difference between RS DishNow card & the GreenDot. Unless I still don't understand, the GreenDot is the ONLY one that will let you do individual days. Just got my 1st one & works great...

How is that Account Stacking? I don't use between two place, no satellite at home only cable. One receiver, one remote, so TV in one room has to watch same channel in other room. Just split the output to two locations.

My problem or dilemma is...I want to get a good receiver with future program upgrade capability, but only do SD for now without any up charges for the better receiver or get the free HD trial & drop without paying a fee for having an HD or DVR capable receiver. I don't think that's...

If I understood your earlier post that's an additional $17/mo on top of any SD package for services I might not want for a while. Looks like they offer 6 mo. HD trial..so if you drop after trial you have to get other equipment or pay the fee?

Confused...if I OWN an HD or HD-DVR & only want bronze 100 without HD or DVR I can't do it?? No satellite at home (yet) so can't "relocate" a receiver. Both places would share the same stations including locals.

Thanks for all the suggestions for my Dish problem. After running RG6 & new 3ghz couplings the problem remained. Managed to get my hands on a "suggested" Legacy Twin & SHAZAAM everything working fine, the DP Twin was bad. Hard for a newbie with no access to alternate hardware, but happy...

System still not receiving properly. Straight run RG6 from satellite to receiver w/ (1) new 3ghz coupling & only getting 119/ODD & 110/ODD. Last weekend was 119&110 ALL but missing some even (low 2,4,6,8...) transponders. Signal strength was a little lower also, but still 105 for both sats...

If you look at the 3ghz F81 couplings on DishStore.net (affiliated with this site I think) they do not have blue core. I hope it's just a 1ghz coupling in the line & that the new 3ghz will fix, but I'm thinking a receiver or LNB problem is more likely. Got it from a " going out of business"...

I will try the s110/tp2 this weekend. Can I leave the system hooked to the 110 side if it holds a signal & still get 119? What if the s110/tp2 does not fluctuate wildly....what would that indicate? What is the difference between the blue & green coupling? I read somewhere while shopping...

I did a search online for Satellite TV Rated Coax Couplings different ways with no success. Any idea where to find the blue couplings & plates? Specific search text? Are they "directional"?
