Got a change of terms from DirecTV today and am going to try to use that to get out of my contract with them and sign up for Dish with the lowest TurboHD package. Are there any better deals out there than dishnetwork.com or maybe a referral I can use?

Question: I started the download last night and tried to see how it was at 25% downloaded, but the receiver wouldn't play it. I hit Play and all I got was the blue light blinking to indicate that it received the remote's command. Is this normal?

I just completed an upgrade and I was surprised because I didn't start it until 2:50 Eastern. The menu responsiveness is much improved and I don't notice any other issues yet.

Darn it! It seems that as long as the HR20 is plugged in, the HR20 gets signal but not the old one. As soon as I unplug the HR20 from the distributor panel, the old one gets signal. :( I'll have to go up on the roof and see if there really are two cable runs like the builder says there are up...

OK, I plugged it in and it doesn't seem to have affected the HR20. It's still getting signal fine it seems. Waiting to see if the old one acquires a signal.
