I just noticed that my 722 now allows me to assign a group to a recorded event and/or timer. I love this feature! I notice I am able to assign a group to multiple recorded events at once, however it appears I have to manually go into each timer and assign each one to a group individually...

I remember hearing a while back about being able to create custom groups for recorded shows. So I would be able to create a "Jason" group that would hold all of my shows and my wife could create one for her shows. Is this functionality available yet? If not, anyone know when it's expected?

I agree that they don't HAVE to give me anything and I can leave whenever I want. However, as a public company whose goal is to MAKE A PROFIT, I would strongly suggest that Dish implement a new strategy to start rolling out the new national HD channels as soon as possible.

I have an appointment on Sunday for a Dish tech to come to my house to install a new coax jack in the basement. Has anyone ever asked the tech to run a second cable to allow for an OTA antenna in the attic? Did the tech need any "financial encouragement" to install the second cable? Thanks!

Thanks for all the help. I'll get up in the attic and see what the installer did with the splitter up there. The splitter was left over from a previous homeowner's cable install. I'm guessing the DN installer disconnected the coax connections to the rest of the house.
