Not off to a good start. The install was to be in the am and on the day of the install they pushed it back to 1:45 to 3:00pm. Now Dish just called and said the install will be between 3:45 and 5:00pm. Wasted the whole day waiting and I am not sure if they will even show up today.

Now that the wireless joey is available, I plan to order this week. Is the cost of the wireless joey the same as the regular joey and is there a charge for the access point?

Do the 2 hoppers see each other? If all three tuners on hopper 1 are in use and you need a 4th tuner on hopper 1, can you then start a recording on hopper 1 using a hopper 2 tuner? Does hopper 2 then work like a super joey?

Glad you are pleased. With your 2 hoppers and PTAT you should be able to record 9 programs at one time. If others in your household are using the Joeys it does cut the number of programs that you can record.

What is the advantage of the 2 hopper system? I am guessing that if one hopper goes out, you still have one that you can watch tv on. One extra tuner that I may never need, but may be nice to have. My motivation to switch is the sec network, PTAT and autohop.

Directv. I added an old receiver for tailgating last football season and got hit with a new 2 yr. contract. I will have a ETF.

Gwdish sounds like that is the way to go. I also wonder if it is safe to provide them with your credit card info and social. You know that going through dish directly has to be safer. Maybe they are just as safe but one would have to wonder. Please post bobvick, if you have anymore...
