So, I'm thinking for now I just leave the IR blaster disconnected and program it with the remote from TV1 just to get past the settup screen. Then controll them seperately. This won't work for contolling live TV but it least we can record shows this way. ...at least I think it will work.

It seems like Dish has allot of disputes with networks. I would hope it's an attempt to keep our costs down but it's a little irritating.

This is kind of why I asked the original question about the after market dishes from places like Winegard. They have a 30" dish that says it can be used for dish network. If a larger dish really helps the situation this might be worth a try.
