WQEX programming change This morning WQEX is showing kids programming - and general PBS stuff through the day. This is cool, since the family will be living off basic cable and whatever OTA I get.

WQED PG on 13-2 now... ...where the actual program lives. Better late than never I suppose.

Real bad sound levels The sound mix on CBS's The King of Queens is awful. The laugh track and intro/exit music completely overwhelm the dialogue. Why is this? Is this deliberate? I can't watch anymore. :(

TPC 17th on ESPNC It confused me at first - but ESPN is doing the normal coverage, and ESPNC is covering just hole 17 live. Both SD of course. I don't remember this being done before.

I agree - these should be part of the basic package. I'm still holding out hope that they will. The VOOM web site hasn't listed these channels yet - so maybe it's still possible. I will not upgrade to VaVaVoom for these channels - I get enough movies already! I just don't understand this one. It...
