Thinking of leaving Dish When you call to cancel your account does Dish cut your service immediately or do you get to finish the monthly service you paid for?? If they do cut your service right away do they refund the money for the portion of month you didn't use??

The rebooting has only occurred when I put the satellite on for the first time. I can say I have read a few of the info messages and there good if you have never had satellite before. I sure hope my 622 hard drive isn't going to die - what kind of ehd do I need? A computer ehd...

I guess they are the Standby messages! I've had it happen three times now ( within a two week period) and it looked for a different satellite in the eastern arc after the reboot. I sure hope it is software and not my 622 saying good bye.

They are information Dish has on about different features on the remote or different things you can visit to enhance your viewing experience.

Three times now I have had the information messages on my screen when I turn it on for the first time in the day to watch programs. It does no good to hit select or any other buttons on the remote - It will stay the same with messages. Then the screen will go blank and you can hear it down...

Yes, it is the information message with the"Press select" The noise is the same as the one it makes at 3:00am. I'm hoping I don't hear it again. Would I lose all my downloads if I have to replace it? Thanks once again!

I just put on my 622 and the receiver had the information messages on screen. It said to hit select to go to programs. I did that but got no response then it sounded like it was downloading. When that stopped it searching for satellite 72 came on then the programs came on. Any thoughts on...

I did look at the preview on 101 but it did say that these channels are free from AT200 & AT250 until the 27th so maybe it will stay on AT200. I'm hoping!
