prepaid systems only work for 1 single tv solution, meaning if you want in 2 tv's, you will have to buy 2 prepaid receceivers and pay the monthly fee 2 times, like u would have to buy 2 $40 pin cards to get tehm both going...they dont have a dual tuner for prepaid..yet so i heard.

i guess prepaId still having issues, now you can go further in the automated system, i try to change my smart card sent to me, the system tells me i activated new cards successfully, then ask me if i want to add more days, i say yes, now it gets in some kind of loop trellin my card is activated...

well i think dish totally colapsed in the way their are handling their prepaid..so sad. now, when i try to add more days to my system, since my time is expired and i havent received new card for that receiver, as soon as i type receiver number , it ttransfers me automatically to regular dish...

freaking dish prepaid sucks! now they added a new option for smart card exchange, well i try ti activate a brand new receiver, i removed old yellow card, and inserted new card sent by my dealer..now i go in the automated system, type in my receiver number and then get connected to dish..now...

well it seems dishnow needs to get new replacements card by april 15..2 people with yellow cards, its showing now that they need new access card by aril 15,and to call the number..it says they need to purchase the smart card as well? that kinda sucks if u have to buy a new card now...

just to update everyone, i received 3 G3 cards for my 3 boxes and i try the first one, i took out the old yellow cam and inserted the new cam , and bang it worked, now i had to add time to it since my previous prepaid card had alreaday expired, so i activated new card and everythign works...

the dnasp needs to update to 609...problem is, dish is not even updating older rev cards anylonger, so it seems we all out of luck, at least us that still have boxes with old rev...i have 3 that are running out if time since im still waitin for some new cards from dish, i gave my dealer receiver...

I try this steps but it did not update...R10fret, did ur receiver card update itself to 609 after following this procedure? if so, did u have a tech resend a signal hit to the receiver to get the card to update? see my receivers were sittin in storage for a while, so they all stuck at 602, thats...

that makes sense to me, this boxes have being in storage for over 6 months or so now, and yes they seem to fail to update to 609 which 2 tech guys try to do for me, i will try the process you telling me now and let you know how it goes...perhaps prepaid systems dont update to 609 like a regular...
