Have you tried the antenna from the Samsung on the 622 or the Mitsubishi?
It could be that they changed from UHF to VHF or vice versa and that your rooftop antenna is no longer able to pull the signal in.
Actually, they can stipulate in the lease that insurance is required; if it's reqired for everyone equally.
I just had to deal with this and a lawyer said it's legal as long as they require it for everyone.
I can't answer the question about EA, but I can about the insurance.
If he has renters insurance, he should have 2 parts to it. One for property loss/damage of his personal property, and one for liability of damage to the building.
What model laptop is this? Is the S-Video port on the laptop or on a capture card?
Most laptops only send video out, not in unless it has a tuner/capture card.
Looks like you're okay then. Most of the non-HDCP sets are older models too. My Sony was one of the first HDMI models and I purchased it in 2003. I'm thinking that HDCP was first in use on the consumer level in about 2001-2002.
HDCP is part of the HDMI spec. The only question is for DVI. Some have it, some do not. Most of the non-compliant sets will also be "HDTV Monitors" without a tuner.
It's been a while since I ordered a "feature", but as I remember "Xtacy" was NOT edited. I actually called Dish and asked which channel provided the "best" movies. I spoke with a younger american man, so he knew what I was asking. Was pretty funny.
