Anyone having problems with A&E HD?

Past two nights I've been experiencing Freezing/macroblocking during CSI, Miami. Anyone else? Other than that the pq is tops.

No TNTHD for Sunday Ticket? TNT takes the Hit

Do Not Call Retention. All you will be offered is $5.00 off the HD programming per month. E-mail them from the D* website. You will get a reply stating that they will call within 48 hours. When they call voice your concerns again and you will get Showtime and the HD package for free for 6 months.

    Future of DirecTV HD

Just add all the available HD channels and let the viewer decide what they want to watch. I'll take any show in HD over its SD counterpart. D* will have to add all of them in order to be competitive.

No TNTHD for Sunday Ticket? TNT takes the Hit

. Go to the D* website, e-mail them about your feelings on this matter. I did and got this reply: Dear Mr. Jones, Thanks for asking about TNT HD. I know it can be frustrating when the HD programming you’re looking for isn’t on, and I understand that HD programming on TNT is important...

No TNTHD for Sunday Ticket? TNT takes the Hit

I am at a lost as to why you don't understand it is wrong to take away any programming you pay for regardless if it's a nickel or whatever. Why doesn't D* just not show a couple of the games in HD on Sunday and leave the programming I pay for alone?

No TNTHD for Sunday Ticket? TNT takes the Hit

Actually bgsmallwood posted section D on page 4 of this topic. If I wasn't so pissed at D*, I would LMAO at how they aren't even aware of their own contract verbage. I say all cancel and dare them to try to collect any cancellation fees. (insert middle finger icon here)

No TNTHD for Sunday Ticket? TNT takes the Hit

You're right on Sean. I'm not a lawyer but it appears to me that D* breeched their own contract: Section D of the D* customer service agreement... (d) Our Programming Changes. Many changing considerations affect the availability, cost and quality of programming and customer demand for it...

No TNTHD for Sunday Ticket? TNT takes the Hit

That article can't possibly be true because a Retention Department Supervisor told me that it was an agreement between the NFL and TNT and D* had no control over this:eek: That lying BEEch. D* no longer gets my money. GL to all

Turn off TNT-HD or Universal-HD for NLF-ST HD?

There is a statement to that effect but we are suppose to have advanced notice. None was given and surely don't shut off a station that will be broadcasting the NEXTEL Chase (2 of the 10 races) in HD. But thats OK you can tune to the 9 shopping networks if you don't want to watch football:D...

Turn off TNT-HD or Universal-HD for NLF-ST HD?

Some don't care about football. Was there anything on TNT worth watching today? There will be next Sunday and it's called NASCAR on TNT- HD but not on D*.

No TNTHD for Sunday Ticket? TNT takes the Hit

I will be looking into switching providers tomorrow. I called customer retention to voice my displeasure with how D* decided to pull TNT-HD during game time on Sunday's. I watch NASCAR and payed dearly to watch it in HD (cost of TV, DD5.1 system and D* HD package). I have no desire to get NFL...

Anyone in S Carolina with D* HDTV

I live in Goose Creek (29445) and I have two dishes. I use an indoor amplified UHF antenna for my digital locals ( don't rely on DTV analog locals because they look like crap). All channels come in with a signal strength of > 90. Give the indoor amplified antenna a try.

H20 loses sat signal, needs reboot to reaquire

Could be a multi-switch going/gone bad (I had the same problem and my switch had gotten water in it). Another problem could be if you have the coax line from the wall going into a surge protector then to your receiver. This caused problems for me and had to by-pass the surge protector.

TNT HD is always pixelated. Directv was to charge me to fix.

As previous post stated make sure all connections are dry and corrosion free. I had a switch that got water in it and it caused some ugly interference.

TNT HD is always pixelated. Directv was to charge me to fix.

I had a similiar problem. All channels would come in fine except ESPN2 and HDNet. I would get the 771 searching for signal prompt. Tech came out and said it was my receiver, then he changed the switch and the LNB, still no luck. Then he checked the signal at the outlet, which was good. At that...

    Does your H-20 do this?

I just bought a Toshiba DLP projection TV (62 HM95). My H-20 is connected via component cables. When viewing HD content I notice a faint horizontal band rolling vertically from the bottom to the top of the screen. I 've switched cables, component inputs on the TV and no improvement. I have my...

    Why D* for my Dad?

I have a HDTV that supplies picture info, i.e., the resolution and if it's interlaced or progressive. The picture info shows that the D* channels that broadcast in 1080i are at 1920 X 1080i resolution. So, is it really HD lite? If it is, then my TV set is giving bad information. Vurbano...

Over 150 national HD channels in 2006?

Hopefully, D* will at least double their current HD offering plus HD locals once this MPEG4 is fully implemented. It's the only way they can stay competitive in the HD market.

NEW HD RUMOR; 24 HD Channels for DirecTV..Bye bye Voom

If they are the only one that offers 21 exclusive channels, then yes, they are cutting edge. Sorry that all 21 don't appeal to your taste, but that doesn't mean that they hold no value. Maybe you just need to be more open minded.
