no upgrade for the 4D 922, if Your battery died on You , send it to ats elctronics, if that is not a option , and You want another 922 there was one in the classified section or maybe try ebay

sounds like a tracking problem I had to add shims, the problem was pole mount I used a hacksaw blade and broke it, I drove in between the pole and the mount( worked great) I was having problems on Hor.2 and also G18 KU

texas claw most actuators need 4 wires, the solid red and black are your motor wires (m1&m2) but you should have a pulse and a ground wire.

I would check out the reciever before I changed the battery, make sure the ITC digitals are coming in , that would be alot of work for nothing if for some reason the unit ID was bad, of course it doesn't sound like it, with Your meter reading voltage. Good collection (#8)

Rlariv, It should have a cband connection, do You have cband, if so You should be able to see a analog channel on G16(G4)-16

make sure You have Ku setup in Your menu options 642 , and not just cband, also what Ku sats do You have listed in the menu, if any

Desert Storm, I have perfect 10 my neighbor gave Me a couple years back,works great with a corotor cband and Ku, a couple of norsat LNB's. If You get that thing to tracking the arc, and as we say in the south, You will be hooked up.

Was it a message box, I wouldn't worry about it unless it did it again It might have been asking You ,if You wanted to subscribe to that certain channel I've never have heard of a 4D telling You to do a M/reset, not saying it couldn't happen

It should be options 6-4-4, if the sats are loaded If they are not there Hit optons 6-4-2 and see if You are setup for Cband and KU if You are just cband, You can change it there to both. then run the dish to G1-3 and wait about 20 minutes or so, they should load up.

Sorry to hear that, I just went through it about a month ago,I hope You got insurance,and Your deduct. isn't to high. They transferred mine 4dtv, no problems.

See if You can get G1- 5 analog clear , if so, You can rule out the lnb most likely

Hawtfire, was it working earlier, or is this something that just happened, do You have any signal from the lnb, can you see any analog stations,give us some more info.
