I may be wrong but Encore has been around since April of 91. If memory serves me correct it was based on the concept of movies from 60's, 70's and 80's. It started out very similar to what the old Starion Theatre from United Video that served the c-band market back in the late 80's til around 90.

When I had dish Viacom had been pitching their shows up back in 2014. They were not time compressing them, but actually pitching them up.

I am not sure. Everything else seems to work fine except for pandora all the other apps work fine and anything i download as far as TV shows or any of the movies that are on demand they work flawlessly. I am Not sure if there is a setting that I have not figured out or what might be the case...
